1. Miracle No Knead Bread

This bread always develops a perfect crusty “flap” across the top, that I inevitably pull off and eat as I’m slicing the loaf. Don’t tell anyone…

With soup season upon us, this recipe from Pinch of Yum is a must-have.

This bread lives up to its name in every way. With about five minutes of active prep time, you will have the best, crusty, chewy sourdough-style, artisan-quality loaf of your life. Trust me.

In the recipe, she says to let the dough sit 12-18 hours. I typically let mine sit for 20-22, and it turns out great. Also, the original recipe says to let the Dutch oven heat up for 30 minutes in the oven; I usually only leave mine in there for 20, and it is plenty hot.

This bread is also a great complement to my Lemon Pepper Chicken Pasta!

2. Quick Brioche Buns

These brioche buns are so good, you would never know they only take an hour from start to finish! Brioche just means they have goodies like eggs and butter in them, making it a rich and luxurious tasting bread! They are perfect for hamburger buns, hot dog buns, sandwiches, dinner rolls, and more.

The original recipe from Kristine’s Kitchen says it makes eight buns; however when I followed this, they were huge! I usually get 12-16 buns out of the recipe.

Also, she specifies to use white whole wheat flour, but I always use regular whole wheat, and they turn out great.

3. One Hour Dinner Rolls

Over the past few years, I had used a different “one hour dinner roll recipe”, which, when writing this post, I couldn’t locate. I had always thought those rolls could be improved upon anyway, and my father-in-law had told me about this recipe from Gimme Some Oven, so I decided to give it a try.

And wow! These are the perfect one hour dinner rolls. I thank the Lord for His providence that I couldn’t find that other recipe, because these are amazing. And so simple to whip up!

4. Garlic Knots

This garlic knot recipe from The Recipe Critic is a staple in my life. I love bringing these to parties and potlucks. Plus, the dough is great for pizza, pigs in a blanket, and more!

Check out my dessert pizza recipe, using this same dough base!

5. 1 Hour Cinnamon Rolls

These count as bread, right?

My mind was blown when I discovered this recipe. Of course, I love my mom’s cinnamon rolls the best. And over the years she has instructed me in making them like she does. But it is a five-hour labor of love to produce those perfect little rolls of joy.

This close imitation can be produced in about an hour! Cinnamon roll connoisseurs will notice a difference in the texture of the bread (it is slightly more dense and yeast-y), but the difference is worth it if you want to have fresh, hot cinnamon rolls ready in a manageable amount of time!
