Method
Prepare Dough
- Place the sugar and yeast in the bowl of a stand mixer (or large bowl). Pour the warm water over. Let it rest for 5 minutes, or until it looks foamy.
- Add the flour and salt. Beat the dough with a dough hook, or knead by hand, until it forms a smooth ball. Add extra flour, if necessary, for the dough to come together. It should be soft, but not overly sticky. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough out into a 14" circle (or whatever will fit your pizza pan) and place on a greased pizza stone or baking sheet. Let it rest for 10 minutes. **Preheat oven to 425°F.**
Prepare Toppings
- Cream Cheese Base: In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Set aside.
- Streusel: In a small bowl, stir together the butter, flour, sugar, and brown sugar. Set aside.
Put It All Together
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough. Top with chocolate and butterscotch chips, then the streusel. Press down lightly.
- Bake for 12 minutes, or until the crust and streusel are golden brown.
